Just when you had some faith in humanity restored, some humans in Los Angeles reset that back to zero.
When Facebook went down a for a short time recently, some Los Angelenos restored to panic — and called 9-1-1.
LA Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Burton Brink of the Crecenta Valley Sheriff’s station tweeted about what most people would think of as commons ense.
#Facebook is not a Law Enforcement issue, please don't call us about it being down, we don't know when FB will be back up!

Maybe they thought the world was ending — I mean, if Facebook goes down, what else is there?
There’s no word as of yet whether these people will be charged with felony counts of stupid.
