Did you change your healthcare to Obamacare? It’s time to change your password now, too.
You know it as Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, healthcare.gov, or whatever you want to call it. Well, like what seems to be like every other web site in the world, it’s flagship website is vulnerable to bad people, too.
However you feel about Obamacare, this is yet another setback for the oft-ridiculed site which has seemingly had constant troubles.
As reported by AP, healthcare.gov was vulnerable to Heartbleed — ironically, considering it’s healthcare we’re talking about — potentially exposing your password to malicious people:
The full extent of the damage caused by the Heartbleed is unknown. The security hole exists on a vast number of the Internet’s Web servers and went undetected for more than two years. Although it’s conceivable that the flaw was never discovered by hackers, it’s difficult to tell.
So, yeah. Change your password.
